For the past fifteen years, Eiselt's focus has been on improving the introductory computing experience for students and creating outreach programs to broaden participation in computing. He is especially interested in improving access to computing education for students with disabilities. Most recently, Eiselt has been working on the development of workshops combining computer programming educations with social skills training for teens and pre-teens on the autism spectrum.
